Los Tules Villas del Sol

I would say this was perfect for what we were looking for: our room (studio) was clean with a fully stocked kitchen, walk out to a patio and pool/beach view, large grocery store across the street, bus stop nearby that took you to RZ. Grounds are beautiful and well kept. Tennis/ pickleball courts. Looks like a great place to come with a group/families. Some of the units had bbq. Lots of people seemed to come for a longer stay. Seemed to be mostly domestic tourists. Only went to the restaurant once- it was fine but maybe it was what we ordered because other people seemed to like it more. Things to be aware of: Definitely an older hotel and pillows/bed could use an upgrade. The front desk was friendly enough but didn’t really give you info, but when we asked people were helpful. Beach was a bit rough but nice to walk along. Not a lot in the immediate area for tourists.

I really like this resort! The rooms are super spacious. My sister and I came to celebrate her birthday and I booked a week long stay in a one bedroom. I thought the 1 bedroom was going to be your typical hotel room with a kitchenette but it's more like a VERY spacious 1 bedroom apartment...think approx 800 sq ft or more. You could see the ocean from our living room and we were next to the pool. I slept on the couch the entire week while my sister slept in the bedroom. You can close the door to the main area as to not disturb anyone in the living room. While they say this room is large enough for 5 people, you can fit a 6th person on the 3rd couch. The kitchen had all the utensils, silverware, dinnerware, etc you could ever need to cook inside your condo. The beach was always clean and the water was so warm and the waves weren't strong except during high tide. Every single staff member we encountered were so welcoming and always smiled while greeting us. The mall is across the street and you could buy all your food at Soriana. Downtown is only 2.5 miles away so we walked back after a city tour.

Domingo is awesome and kind and friendly. Hanna is the boss in the restaurant not a waitress. Don't make that mistake. Fernando the operations manager is amazing. He's helpful and accommodating and helps with anything you need. Beautiful area. Clean beach and excellent service. Beautiful pools.

Great place overall. Rooms are a bit dated but have good space and nice balconies. Pools and adjacent beach are very nice. Restaurant is good and very reasonably priced. Nice pickleball courts (they give you an hour per day, so they say, but you can basically play from 11-4 as much as you want).

Best kept secret in Puerto Vallarta! The staff were amazing! We will definitely return

3rd time in Puerto Vallarta and this is the best place I've stayed. Beautiful grounds with tons of palm trees. Room was great with a view of one of the pools and the ocean beyond. Restaurant serves amazing food and great drinks. Would definitely stay there again!
